Rebecca Lowe is an esteemed math educator with over two decades of experience in teaching and educational leadership. She holds two master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and School Counseling, along with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education, bringing a deep and multifaceted understanding of how students learn best.

​

Rebecca has taught in a wide range of settings, including private and boarding schools, public schools, community colleges, and online platforms. Her career spans eight states and two countries, and she has taught every level of mathematics from middle school through Calculus. Having also taught in Ottawa, Canada, she brings valuable insight into both U.S. and Canadian educational systems.

 

As a proud Navy spouse to Mike Lowe, Rebecca understands the importance of adaptability, consistency, and perseverance - values she brings to every tutoring relationship. Her background as an athlete in sailing, lacrosse, running, yoga, and triathlons has strengthened her communication and teamwork skills, which shine through in her teaching.

 

Rebecca is more than a math educator; she is a mentor, coach, and source of inspiration for students aiming to excel in mathematics. Her passion, knowledge, and extensive experience make her an invaluable asset to any student seeking to unlock their full math potential.

​

Mike Lowe is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he played Division I soccer. Following a distinguished 20-year military career, he turned his focus to education in 2017. Since then, Mike has taught and served as a senior administrator at two New England independent schools and led an educational nonprofit dedicated to applied mathematics.

 

Mike supports students in Physics, Chemistry, Grades 4–8 Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I combining a practical, problem-solving approach with a calm, encouraging style.

​

Outside of teaching, Mike enjoys traveling aboard Peregrina, the boat he shares with Rebecca, spending time with their two dogs, Monte and Maggie, and surfing whenever possible.
